Two years ago, in the very beginning of Windows Phone OS, LG announced an interesting smartphone - Optimus 7. And DLNA support was one of a few features that gave korean phone a little advantage amoung another models on the market. Using PlayTo application Optimus 7 users could use their phone like a DLNA-player and stream Photos, Music and even HD Video to DLNA-enabled TV's through WiFi, in two taps and without any difficult configuration.

And now Nokia shows us their Play To application with fairly the same functionality, and it was immediately setup on my Samsung Focus with custom fully-unlocked firmware.

Select your TV in the Connection menu.

Choose an item to stream.

This is how a small, not a full-resolution photo looks like.

App shows playback time during the streaming.
Everything work flawless, fast and easy. Just like the Windows Phone 7 OS itself.

You can download Nokia Play To from here
